Questionnaire Analysis
ANALYSIS OF
COLLEGE MAGAZINE QUESTIONNAIRE
From handing out a questionnaire and receiving the results I
have learnt a lot of information about what students want in a college
magazine. When I asked if students read a college magazine 90% said no which
shows that the college magazine is not reaching its target audience.
The second question that was asked was what colours would
students like to see on a college magazine, and the colours that were most
wanted were black, red, white and blue.
The main image that people would like to see on the front
cover of a college magazine is either a student or a student’s work which was
voted by 80% of people. 75% of the votes showed that readers would like the
cost of a college magazine to be between 50p and £1.
The magazine should be published either weekly or every
fortnight this was based on 70% of students asked. On the front cover students
would most like to see a range of cover lines such as college events,
technology, jobs or vacancies, a gig guide, subject information and the latest
films.
The title of the magazine would be most successful if it was
one of the following such as East Norfolk life, college news daily, EN news or
East Norfolk weekly. 85% of students asked would like to see offers or freebies
within a college magazine. And when asked 50% of students would like an online
version of the college magazine but 50% also said they wouldn’t.
